Functionally, the primary goal of this project was to create a residence that takes advantage of the intrinsic privacy possible in a multi-building solution. With the master bedroom at the end of one structure, and the primary guest areas at the opposite end of an other structure, and all the more public indoor and outdoor living areas arranged between the two, this was achieved. An equally important goal was to create a “true” Greatroom, large and open, and combining the functions of living, dining, and kitchen.
